Book-Friend or Foe Author-Michael Morpurgo Summary-Friend or Foe is a book which takes place during the World War. It talks about 2 boys who leave London without their parents as evacuees. They are taken care by a man called Mr. Reynolds and his wife. David and Tucky who are the 2 boys study in a school in the countryside. One day they see bombings from the house but no one else does. They later scout the moor to find 2 German pilots injured. They find them when one of the boys get stuck in the river and the pilots help him. The boys give them food, water and blankets for a week in return. In the end, one of the German pilots asks himself to be turned in as he was badly injured. Eventually Mr. Reynolds comes to know that the boys helped the pilot when he notices the missing things in his house. My View-The story was deeply touching as the author conveyed the message of how children felt when leaving their parents and getting evacuated. I was also impressed by how well the author convey...
