Lately, I have been researching about the southwest monsoon and I decided to give you guys my information in the form of a diary entry. Monsoon Diary Entry I am the southwest monsoon wind.As my name suggests, I originate in the southwest part of India. I originate from the Arabian Sea.Land heats up faster than water. When the land near the Arabian Sea heats up , it causes the heat to spread making the air around it warm. The warm air rises up as warm air is lighter than cold air. Temperature decreases with altitude. When the warm air rises up, it starts becoming colder and denser. Meanwhile, the land starts getting filled up with the moist sea air as the land has lesser pressure.The warm air which went upward to cool down comes back down to the sea as rain. This cycle keeps repeating multiple times. You might think that the water might keep going back to the sea but that is where I come in.
