Andaman(A Perfect Destination):Part 1:Havelock Day 3:Otherworldy I woke up at 4:30 in the morning after lots of refusing to wake up, shivering and teeth chattering but I managed to become brisk. I was excited and I know today was going to be another level because I was going to Scuba dive for the first time in my life. We reached the diveshop,Frogman Adventures, where we had booked our dive. So first from the shop, we took a small stroll to Govind Nagar beach. We kept walking into the beach until we reached the place were water was till the height of my chest. A diver who was going to be accompanying us taught us th e  underwater hand signals and how to use the sc uba equipment .  There was an extremely cool high pressure button which removes water from your mouth if you accidentally drink it.A thought crossed my mind and I grinned as I wanted to drink sea water just to try out the button .  Initially, I was struggling with not being able to breathe through my ...

Andaman(A Perfect Destination):Part 1:Havelock Day-2:Trek To Play I woke up at 6:30 in the morning wondering why I was awake so early in my house but then suddenly a jolt of realization rushed through me reminding me that I was in Havelock, one of Andaman's most popular tourist destinations. We were going to the Elephant Beach today for water sports. We parked our bike near the start point of the trek to the beach and hired a guide as the  forest  trek was really confusing to make your way through and very easy to get lost.So there are two ways to get to Elephant Beach, one is through the trek and the other is through the speed boat. But me being a nature lover immediately opted for the forest trek. This was one of the most unique treks I have ever completed.Let me tell you why.The landscape transcends multiple times so beautifully.Usually the maximum the landscape change extends to  a forest then a waterfall but this one was special. We crossed a Rainforest, then a swam...

Andaman(A Perfect Destination):Part 1:Havelock Day 1:Enter Paradise I woke up at 3:30 in the morning. I was ecstatic because I was leaving to the Andaman Islands. So ecstatic that I wasn't sad that my favourite cricket team ,Chennai Super Kings, had been destroyed in the match by my least favourite team,Royal Challengers Bangalore.I left for Chennai Airport from which we went to Veer Savarkar International Airport. I was very excited and didn't know how to control my hyperactiveness on the flight. So I teleported, in other words, I slept. I was in Port Blair,Andaman's capital within seconds. Guess teleportation is not years away then. We went to an Anthropological museum before going to Havelock. We learnt a lot about the tribes in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Then we caught our ferry from Haddo Jetty to Havelock Jetty. It was a 2 hour ride but every minute was to relish. We saw many flying fish and tried to capture them(with our camera not our hands) but they were too...

My Donation Drive

Image
My Donation Drive Whenever I watch kids begging on the road without education because they are poor or they are orphans or seeing kids going to government school not having proper bags and uniform antithetically seeing people in my class rich with resources, a question of "why this inequality" arised to me. Education should be common to all. Everyone should be given an oppurtunity to prove their potential. No one in the world should go illiterate. Not because of their financial condition. My friends and I recieve so many stationary items and bottles as return gifts from birthday parties which are held around 10 to 15 times a year which I thought should go to the right hands, the people who can't attend Birthday parties. So I decided I should conduct a donation drive in my apartment and donate all the used but usable school stationary supplies to an orphanage or an ashram. I wanted to help 1000 people but my parents told me to start with a small number. This idea came fro...
