Andaman(A Perfect Destination):Part 1:Havelock
Day 1:Enter Paradise
I woke up at 3:30 in the morning. I was ecstatic because I was leaving to the Andaman Islands. So ecstatic that I wasn't sad that my favourite cricket team ,Chennai Super Kings, had been destroyed in the match by my least favourite team,Royal Challengers Bangalore.I left for Chennai Airport from which we went to Veer Savarkar International Airport. I was very excited and didn't know how to control my hyperactiveness on the flight. So I teleported, in other words, I slept. I was in Port Blair,Andaman's capital within seconds. Guess teleportation is not years away then. We went to an Anthropological museum before going to Havelock.
We learnt a lot about the tribes in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Then we caught our ferry from Haddo Jetty to Havelock Jetty. It was a 2 hour ride but every minute was to relish. We saw many flying fish and tried to capture them(with our camera not our hands) but they were too fast. I was hoping we would see a Dugong ,which is the state animal of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, or a Dolphin. But as usual, my animal spotting hopes were left disappointed in the deep pristine seas of the beautiful Islands. We took an auto to our room and chilled there for some time before we left to what was considered the most beautiful sunset and cleanest beach in India, the 7th cleanest beach in the world, Radhanagar Beach. We rented a bike and left for the beach with our swimsuits on. We reached at 3:30 and had lots of fun in the picturesque beach. We were jumping around and got drifted by the sometimes calm but sometimes ferocious waves. As we waited for the sun to set a cloud cover spoiled the scenic setting but nevertheless we had a ton of fun in the water!! Hey! That rhymed.
After seeing(well if you can call it)the sunset, we had a delicious dinner in a popular restaurant named Something Different which was something different as it was near a private beach with beach access but we couldn't see much in the darkness outside. We ate a salad, pasta, an extremely GOATed cheesy pizza(which is funny because the cheese was made out of goat milk) and a wonderful scrumptious chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which are the two flavours that go well anytime of the day or year. After returning to our room, we saw a movie and slept.
