DAY 1-SRINAGAR

Today was the day I was going to go to Kashmir.I was so thrilled and exuberant about going because this was the first time I was going to see snow.I couldn’t sleep the previous night but my mother put me to sleep and told me she would wake me up at 3 but she woke me up an hour early.I was muddled and wasn’t understanding.She said that our flight was supposed to be at 5 AM but it got cancelled and we had to book a replacement. I was hysterically  panicking and was in cold sweat.My parents were doing the best they could to get the replacements but it was hard work and we could not book it.I was hurrying up and down the hall and was staring constantly at the time.In the end luckily our replacement got booked for  6 o'clock.We were in a haste but our taxi got booked early and the driver drove very fast.We finished the process quickly and were running to the door as our final boarding call was being announced.We ran in just when they were about to close the doors.The chaos in our brains stopped when we boarded and knew that we would make it to snow paradise.We landed 3 hours later at Delhi were our connecting flight to Kashmir was waiting.We had tons of time left and I went to eat at the lounge.The food was scrumptious and made me bounce of walls despite the depressing morning.Our flight from Delhi to Srinagar felt long and I couldn’t wait anymore to feel snow and see the beauty of Kashmir.When our landing message came through  I was on cloud nine,grinning from ear to ear.I was very excited and the chill in the air just kept my energy going.We checked into our hotel The Gurcoo Residency which was warm , comfy and served a delicious buffet food for breakfast and dinner.The next day was going to be big.I waited for night to pass fast as I was raring to go.
