Things Found In A 12 Year Old’s Room


A neat and tidily made bed

A metal trash can full of pencil led

A map of the world and a bulletin board

A violin with which you can play any chord


A wardrobe filled with clothes

A window where the wind blows

A spacious balcony with a scenic urban view 

All you can see is a road full of traffic just on the brew


A door opens the world of endless wisdom

An athenaeum howling to be read next to an artificial viscum

An old skateboard as aged as my grandfather lies in the loft

A secret stash of candy under the cot sends fragrance to waft


A  large mirror next to the table as reflective as water can be

A strong pull out and behind a secret hiding place you can see

Next to the bed lies a small portable basketball hoop

For me to dunk and act like a celebrity from my favorite song on loop

My Experience In The South City Premier League This year I wanted to watch the IPL in stadium but I didn't get the oppurtunity to do so but I got to participate something just as competitive and fun, the South City Premier League. A place where you can draw with Illustrators. A place where you can see your favourite authors talking to each other. A place where you are never denied your reading rights. A place where reading is celebrated like no other, The Neev Literature Festival.  On the 28th and 29th of September 2024, The Neev Literature Festival was held in Bangalore. It brought authors from all around India and even famous authors from US and Australia. These authors came here to share their experience about writing to kids and also for them to sign their books and give book reading sessions to children. My Hyderabad Trip-Part 2

 Have you ever acted in out a movie scene in the shooting spot of an iconic film which has won the National Film Award? Well I have. Let me tell you have this all started. We were in the second and last day of our 2-day trip to Hyderabad. We had decided to go to Ramoji Film City which was the biggest film city in India covering over 2000 acres. Pretty impressive, huh! It was an hour's drive from our hotel and we reached there. They had many tour package options and we chose the star package as it had the huge advantages of skipping lines, AC buses in the tiresome weather and 100 rupee coupons in the souvenir stores. We had to wait in the lounge were we got 3 boxes of chocolates and 6 water bottles. We didn't wait much and our bus arrived in 5 minutes. It was a 10 minute drive from the ticket counter to the actual film city. We had a tour guide who took us to all the places and explained what movies were shot there.
