Book Review Of Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

Book Review Of Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

Criminally Good. That's all Artemis Fowl is about .Well, guess what? This book is legally extremely good. Let's get straight into the summary of this book. Artemis Fowl is a 12-year-old prodigy who has dedicated his life to criminal activities. He leads the Fowl criminal empire which has been existing in his family for years. When he finds out that fairies exist and they have lots of gold, it's nothing but game time for the mastermind Artemis Fowl. Artemis and his manservant, Butler find the sacred book of fairies and manage to track down and kidnap one of the fairy captains, Holly Short.(Well, now let me give you a small background. Fairies have really hi-tech equipment and live underground. They have not been known by humans and have many magical qualities.)  Artemis then contacts the commanders of the fairies and blackmails them asking for gold as ransom in exchange for their Captain Holly Short. A fairy retrieval team is sent to Fowl Manor and negotiation starts. Read The Book To Find Out What Happens Next!

The book is dumbfounding and has a unique plot. I just loved the book as Artemis was a really cool kid for his age. He was smart and was making fairies bow down to his requirements and wants. Artemis is also a person who buys his way through smartness and money. Even though a person like him seems impossible to exist in the real world, he is portrayed as an independent and successful young boy. He reminded me of the hero of my favourite movie series(The Dark Knight Trilogy), Bruce Wayne. Butler reminded me of Alfred who constantly kept giving Bruce advice in life. Artemis Fowl is a must-read for all ages. But beware, it has magical properties. You can't put it down after you pick it up.
