Movie Review of F1:The Movie

 Movie Review of F1:The Movie

Three Laps is a lifetime, seconds are a matter of life and death. Welcome to the entertaining world of F1 the hardest form of sport there is.

The F1 movie released on theaters on June 27th and quickly became a world-wide sensation. While many people may look into lots and lots of logic in the movie, I firmly believe it is a fabulous and perfect movie. Movies like these come once in a while. A one time watch which leaves an impact on you forever. The last time I watched a movie as good as this one was The Dark Knight.

The movie starts in the 24 hours of Daytona race that happens in Florida every year. The story starts with the Porsche team behind in the leaderboard and how Sonny Hayes(Brad Pitt), an old racer gets them the lead and how Porsche wins the race.

After the race, Sonny meets his old teammate who convinces him to get back to F1. His friend is the owner of a losing F1 team and makes Sonny to come back to racing and race for his team. The moment Sonny becomes part of the team he becames a rival of his rookie teammate Joshua Pierce (Damson Idris). Their rivalry causes them to collide with one another and both of them do not finish. In order to make up for his mistake, Sonny collides into other cars getting Joshua on the leaderboard. The next race, Joshua doesn't listen to Sonny and gets into a crash. Then, during the next race they collide right after Joshua recovers. Finally, in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, due to wrong charges filed against the team, they lose the upgrade in their car. Sonny becomes mad and crashes due to ignorance and extreme speed.

There is only one race left and it is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Will Sonny Hayes be able to prove that he is the best in the world ? See the movie to find out.

I have been waiting since 2023 for this movie to release, when I first found about it. It is the 2nd Brad Pitt movie that I've seen and one thing is for sure, it ranks on my top 3 movies probably along with the Dark Knight and Jason Bourne. It was excellent through and through and didn't have a single boring scene. The camera quality was just amazing and the songs were wonderful.

Many people in the reviews said that an old F1 driver didn't make sense but then, that was the whole point of the movie, how a retired F1 driver returns and wins. You may find not high ratings from few audience or critics but trust me, this movie is one of the closest things to a perfect movie. I'm not advertising the movie but reccomending it as I loved it and I want other people to watch it too. Brad Pitt's physique and willpower to actually drive and not use a stunt double was staggering. The movie was amazing and the races were better filmed than actual F1 races. The rivalry between him and his teammate was very natural and didn't look made up. Sonny's chill attitude and Joshua's angered attitude added charm to the movie. It made the movie more perfect. The dialogues were pretty well crafted and I could say Damson Idris' marvelous acting was overshadowed by Brad Pitt. I went only a week after the movie was released so there was a lot of hype but the movie lived up to my expectations and was better than how much ever I could've imagined. Overall, anyone who hasn't seen this movie hasn't seen an actual movie in their life.
